Lucy worked at East Lake UMC as the Administrative Assistant to Children and Youth for two years and now is excited to be moving into the position of Congregational Development Coordinator. She is looking forward to greeting everyone on Sunday mornings as well as meeting new people and helping them discover small groups and all the wonderful things going on at East Lake.
Lucy received her Associate of Arts degree from Peace College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Development from Meredith College. She is married to David and has two sons who have emptied her nest. She enjoys traveling, reading and wandering to the beach as often as she can. One of her favorite Bible verses is “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5
